Journal Entry #11: There are 10 basic principles of good design; CONTRAST, EMPHASIS, PROXIMITY/ALIGNMENT, BALANCE, HIERARCHY, SCALE, HARMONY/UNITY, PATTERN, REPETITION, & RHYTHM/MOVEMENT. For this week’s journal #11, google examples of PROXIMITY/ALIGNMENT as a principle of design, and upload a picture of an example of PROXIMITY/ALIGNMENT to your Journal #11 describing how it is used as a principle of good design. Refer to the PowerPoint slideshow I created below, for reference but ALWAYS write in your own words!!

Basically closeness or distance of individual design elements. Close proximity indicates a connection.
